Join us for the I Respect Black Festival, a powerful community celebration created to bring people together through culture, unity, healing, family, entertainment, food, vendors, public safety engagement, and community connection.

We will be out canvassing this wonderful event! Come on out!

Join us for a community panel, moderated by congressional candidate Alex Scheel, exploring the human impact of U.S. military aid, immigration enforcement and the role of private companies that operate across these sectors - and what we can do about it.

After the panel, stay for a lunch reception with Alex - an Army veteran, former labor organizer, and community advocate taking on Marilyn Strickland in Washington's 10th District.

Marilyn Strickland has held her seat since 2020 and voted to keep funding weapons for Israel's assault on Gaza. She sits in the corporate-friendly New Democrat Coalition. She ran the Seattle Chamber of Commerce before she ran for Congress.

Alex Scheel is an Army veteran running on Medicare for All, housing for all and ending military aid to Israel.

Come wave signs - not just for Alex, but against the genocide in Gaza and impacts of US imperialism everywhere - hold the line and make sure every car crossing 4th Ave sees it: WA-10 wants a Democrat who fights for us.
